The brief is to design a temporary, freestanding, transportable and contemporary showcase Pavilion to be installed in the Museum Gardens.

The theme for this year's Triumph Pavilion is "Dream", hence the Pavilion will be entitled "Dream Pavilion". It is a theme that invites participants and visitors to dream about a unique space, creating a place, achieving an ambition or simply being inspired by a series of thoughts, images and sensations.

The planned Pavilion structure will be designed by a selected architect or design team through this Pavilion competition after the deleberation of an internal panel. The Panel will select a competition winner from the submitted entries that most satisfies the brief and is befitting of the Museum Gardens. The Pavilion design should also encourage and highlight the need for ecological and sustainable design principles where possible.

Pavilion should not exceed 4 meters in height and 60 square meters in area.

Museum Gardens, Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green, London, E2 9PA, England, United Kingdom next to the V&A Museum of Childhood.

BUDGET:                   
$10,000 USD (GBP equivalent) including all materials, fabrication, construction and any transportation cost all with liason with ArchTriumph.
Pavilion should not exceed 4 meters in height and 60 square meters in area.
 
BUILD / FABRICATION COMMENCING:  
03 February 2014

CONSTRUCTION / FABRICATION COMPLETION:          
Completed and in place by 27th May 2014

REALISATION:
The winning project team may be assigned to an architectural office or co-architect to collaborate with in further developing the construction drawings and prepare it for construction where the team lacks the experience. It is to be built on a site elsewhere and assembled or placed in position in the Museum Gardens.

REGISTRATION:
One Registration per Project Proposal. Each proposal is assigned a Unique Registration Number (URN). Participants or teams can register to submit more than one design proposal.

FEES:
Every entrant shall be required to pay an entry fee as follows:
o     Special Registration: $150 US from 28th  June 00:00 (GMT) to 15th July 2013 23:59 (GMT)
o     Early Registration: $200 US from 16th July 00:00 (GMT) to 14th August 2013 23:59 (GMT)
o     Standard Registration: $250 US from 15th August 00:00 (GMT) to 30th October 2013 23:59 (GMT)
o     Late Registration:$350 US from 31th October 00:00 (GMT) to 11th November 2013 23:59 (GMT)
 
Note:
Fees are not refundable under any circumstance as stated in the terms and conditions.
All deadlines are 23:59 Hours (GMT)
 
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Applications to register and qualification for the various levels of Competition registration fees must arrive no later than 23.59 hours (GMT) on the date specified in the Timetable.

ELIGIBILITY:
Architects
Architecture graduates
Architecture students
Team of architects
Inter-disciplinary teams (engineers, designers in-conjunction with an architect).
Submissions can be the work of an individual or a group up to 4 members.
Registration and participation in the competition implies an immediate acceptance by entrants of all terms & conditions governing the site and competition.

INELIGIBILITY:
Employees, consultants, agents of ArchTriumph.
Employees, partners, friends, family, personnel, office practice or studios associated with any of the panel.
Persons who have taken part in the organisation of the Competition or the writing of the architectural brief.
Persons involved in the establishment or in the preparation of the program (including any feasibility for the Competition site or topic).

RESTRICTION:
Participants must be aged between 18 or over on date of registration for this competition. 
 
SUMBMISSION DEADLINE
11th November 2013 ----------------------------------- Closing Date for Proposal Submission.
 
PRIZES/ AWARDS:
Winning proposal will receive the Honour of designing the ArchTriumph Showcase Triumph Pavilion with details of awards as follows:
1st Prize
o  US$ 10,000 (TEN THOUSAND US DOLLARS) budget for the design and construction of the ArchTriumph Summer Showcase Triumph Pavilion 2014 to be installed in the Museum Gardens, Bethnal Green in London.
o  Publication on Archtriumph website
o  Publication in an architecture magazine, various architecture websites and blogs
o  Exhibited at the opening event for the Pavilion
o  Exhibited during the month of the London Festival of Architecture

 Also published on our website, social media platforms, blogs and exhibited in any opening event will be 2nd, 3rd place proposals and any 10 Triumphant Mentions.

EVALUATION AND JUDGING PROCESS:
An ArchTriumph panel of 3 professionals will review the submitted entries based on the competition objectives and from the short-listed entries select the eventual competition winner during the evaluation process.
